  • Antioxidant SONOX 225 is a kind of compound components, including antioxidant SONOX 1010 and antioxidant SONOX 168.Soluble in benzene, hexane, ethyl acetate, insoluble in water.

Uses:
  • It, with good synergistic of antioxidant SONOX 1010 and SONOX 168, can retard heated degradation and oxidative degradation of polymeric substances during processing and in end applications. It is used in polyolefins and olefin-copolymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene and ethylene-vinylacetate copolymers. The blend can also be used in other polymers such as engineering plastics, styrene homo-and copolymers, polyurethanes, elastomers, adhesives, and other organic substrates. The amount to be used may be 0.1%??? 0.8%.

Package and Storage:

  • Packed with paper-plastic composite bags or cardboard boxes or cardboard pails with PE inner liners, net weight 25kg, or according to customers’ requirements. Store in a cool area designed for the storage of chemicals. Period of validity: Normally 12 months.

Antioxidant 1010 is a non staining, high molecular weight, hindered phenolic antioxidant. Because of its low volatility, Antioxidant 1010 imparts excellent heat stability and color retention, with good compatibility and low extractability. Outstanding for use with peroxide cures due to minimal cure interference.

Antioxidant 1010 finds application in plastics, rubber, latex, varnishes, adhesives, TPR's and hot melts. In plastics, antioxidant 1010 provides excellent antioxidant performance in polyethylene, polystyrene, polyacetal, PVC, AS resin, Methacrylic resin, polycarbonate, polyester, and polymethylpentene as well as many others. In rubbers, antioxidant 1010 can be used in SBR, EPR, EPDM, polybutadiene, Neoprene, Nitrile, Polyisoprene, and many other synthetic rubbers. Typical dosage is 0.02% to 0.50% by Weight FDA regulations with antiox 1010 clearance include 175.105 and 178.2010 (if used according to these regulations, then 177.2600 (rubber articles) will allow 1010 usage).

  • Finanox-18 (DSTDP) is a secondary antioxidant used in polyolefins and other polymers requiring long term heat ageing properties.
  • Finanox-18 particularly decomposes hydroperoxides, formed by auto-oxidation of polymers and neutralizes them. It is often used as synergist in combination with phenolic antioxidants. Finanox-18 (DSTDP) has been approved for use in some food packaging applications.
  • Finanox-18 is mainly used in combination with phenolic antioxidants in PE, PP, ABS, Polyester, Polyamides, Acetals, Nylon 6/66, PET/PBT, PC, PS

Plastaid-T is a Multifunctional Processing Aid (MPA) for highly filled polyolefins like filled PP/PE compounds, colour masterbatches, TPO/TPE compounds.

Plastaid-T has sites available for hydrogen bonding and is therefore able to act as a coupling agent between base polymer and filler materials.

Slight variations of the specifications stated due to raw materials and production conditions are possible though they have no influence on the application properties described.

In addition, Plastaid-T can be also used in those standard unfilled polymers where reduced melt viscosity and flow improvement are desired at processing conditions. In many systems better surface appearance with lower and more uniform mould shrinkage is achieved. Property losses are negligible for most compounds at the normal addition levels of Plastaid-T. It is also suggested as a lubricant for polyolefins, PVC, PS, ABS, PET and many of TPO and TPE systems. Plastaid-T is also suitable for epoxy, phenolics, SMC/BMC and other thermosetting compounds.
