SF-X570/174 is a reactive chemical with methacrylic-based organic functional groups and trimethoxysilyl-based inorganic functional groups. This bifunctional group structure gives SF-X570 special properties: it can organically bond inorganic materials (such as glass, silica) and organic thermosetting resins to promote adhesion, crosslinking agents and / or the role of surface modifiers. It is a colorless and transparent liquid that is sensitive to light and heat, has a clear sweet smell, soluble alcohols, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.
Applications
Treatment of glass fiber yarn with a wetting agent containing SF-X570 silane coupling agent (containing film-forming agent, lubricant and antistatic agent) can increase the mechanical strength of this glass fiber yarn-reinforced composite material.
