  • BENTEC ED-22, "Rheological Additive", is a new generation Easily Dispersible Organoclay for system based on Aromatic solvents of low to medium polarity. It gives fully and reliably developed Rheological properties.
  • Rheological Additives are used in coatings to provide pigment Suspension, control of Sag, viscosity built up & Flow control.
Advantages:

BENTEC ED-22 has several important and cost saving advantages for Coating Industry.
  • It can be added in Powder Form.
  • Eliminates preparation of Gel thus saves time & energy.
  • Polar activator is not required thus cost savings.
  • Easy to disperse.
  • It gives batch to batch production consistency.
BENTEC ED-22 can be incorporated with following options:
  • Addition to the pigment grind.
  • Addition after pigment grinds before letting down mill base.
  • Addition during let down.
General Properties:

Mesh Size - 90% minimum through 200 B.S.S mesh
Volatiles (Moisture) - 2 to 4%
Particle size (In Dispersed Condition) - Less than 1 micron BENTEC ED-22 can be used in various industrial coatings like NC Paints, Epoxy Finishes,Chlorinated Rubber Paints, Polyurethane Paints, Thermoplastic solvent/epoxy RoadMarking paint, Hot Melt Thermoplastic Road Marking Paint, etc.
