For every LED application, there's often a harsh environment waiting to impact its long-term performance. But the temperature extremes, humidity and UV that many LEDs face are no match for SCS Parylene coatings. In addition to their excellent moisture and dielectric barrier properties, SCS Parylene coatings are ultra-thin, usually micron-range thickness, so they add minimal mass to LED components – an important factor when considering the overall weight of LED displays.
